Default OBD port dead?

Got my Edge programmer and the friggin port on the truck is dead. Went a couple weeks ago and looked at a used one id found on craigslist. Didn't work (when I say doesn't work I mean not a thing on the edge lights up), thought his programmer was toast. Order me a new one from 4 wheel parts and same thing. What would kill an OBD port? Anybody have any suggestions?

check your cigarette lighter, if that doesnt work either its a good guess the fuse that powers the OBD post is blown (cig lighter and port share the same circuit IIRC)

Fuse #42 I think. Check your owners manual.
