O7 f150 4x4 extended cab

Removed the front drive shaft and the noise coming from under the vehicle stayed the same, only makes the thrashing noise when under power, stops as soon as I lift the throttle ,only does it in 2wd

Can you describe said noise? I just replaced an iwe as well as both front hub assemblies. Was a metal on metal grinding noise.
