Default Ford F-150 fx4 5.4 trying to connect new sensor to old wires but colors r different

passenger 02 sensor burnt in2 off manifold so wires got hot and colors changed. Went to junk yard and got new sensor off same truck. The wires I have in my truck r 2 red with yellow stripes a dark green looking one and white with red stripe. I was able to get the motorcraft sensor and those wires r purple with white stripe, red with green stripe, grey with red stripe and white with black stripe. Like I said it melted the sensor so can’t tell what wires go where. Tried looking at diagrams but not with the same color wires. Any help would be amazing thank you.

Default Different O2 sensor part numbers

So I'm confident I can find the locations but I ordered my sensors to replace all and they have slightly different numbers and look like they possibly have different heat ratings with their coloring (not sure if that's a thing), are there specific differences in the sensors that indicate where they need to go? I have an 07' f150 with the 4.2 V6 if that makes any difference.

Default Diagnostic Channels

I am trying to diagnose a potentially bad sensor. I have voltage graphing from the Torgue app, but I don't know which channel on the graph correlates to which sensor. This is the graph if have after about an hour of running. Thanks in advance for any help.

Side note: I'm also trying to chase several misfire codes and an oil leak on/around bank 1. The mis codes are on both banks.

Thanks for very informative thread. I need to replace '09's Bank 1, Sensor 2. So that's located on passenger side, and after the catalytic converter, correct?

I would only recommend OEM. i put in aftermarket denzo & bosch and they kept tripping a check engine code

Default Thank you so much.

Thank you so much I know this in all your post but I appreciate the knowledge I have a 2001 5.4 l found the Upstream oxygen sensors two of them for $34 on car parts.com. that's the cheapest ones and they can go up from there.
