Default Not another HID post

Hey all, I know this has been talked about a LOT-- and I did do a search (multiple ones).. but haven't been able to get a straight answer.

I'm looking to get an HID kit and have just one question...

Is it okay to use the factory housing?
Some say yes, some say no. Personally I like the factory housing...

Any input would be much appreciated!

1- technically its illegal in all 50 states...the kits are not dot approved for on road use...hence you'll see 'off road use only' on then...

2- the glare in factory housings will blind oncoming traffic whether on high or low beams...

Retrofit projectors and it will have a nice cutoff line and no issues with legality or blinding traffic
