Default Normal?

Just realized this today. On my 06 fx4, when I was stopped at a stop sign on a steep hill, I let go of the brake for about a second and the truck began to roll back slowly while the truck was in drive. Is this normal?

Yes its normal, I forget the technical way to describe it, but basically the trans doesnt have positive pressure yet.

The pump at idle doesnt produce enough pressure to keep the discs from slipping on each other so it rolls whichever way has the least resistance.

Most vehicles do it, not all, but most.
