Default Noisy Power Windows

Hi guys !

What would be the proper way to fix the squeelin noise my windows make when going down or up on my 04 Super Cab ?

Started after this past winter and it's getting VERY annoying...

Pointers will be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

P.S.: Did a search and it wasnt too successful other than finding out that 'maybe" silicone spray would 'help'...

Is it a "squeaking noise"? If so you'll have to take off your door panels and grease the pulleys.

I had this problem on my 05 crew. Pull the door panel off and peel back the water shield. At the bottom of the door is 2 pulleys. Spray the pulley shafts and run the window up and down a few times to work it in before reassembling the door. I used Tri-Flow for my lubricant. Haven't had a problem since.

Man Tri Flow rocks! But verrrry expensive. I paid 75 bucks for a can from stryker. They manufacter our stretchers and when I do maint. on em, Tri Flow is the only lubricant we can use without voiding warranty.

I just looked it up at Grainger. They get $20.41 for a 16oz. can.

What did you mean by peel back water shield ? I'll do this this weekend.
