Default Noise coming from flexplate/starter (not sure which)

So, this noise popped up while pulling a trailer, and at first I thought it was the starter not fully disengaging (which it could still be). I have replaced the starter because it was getting weak anyways, which I assumed was because it was stuck slightly engaged and was making contact with the ring gear. After replacing the starter, the noise got worse.

It happens extremely bad in reverse, and only mildly while cruising at RPMS around 2500-3500. It is definitely coming from back of the motor or front of the transmission. I took the inspection plate and little grommet off and everything seems fine, but I'm no master mechanic and the flexplate could still be warped.

If you would, watch this video and let me know what you think. Thank you!

The flex plate is always spinning while the engine is running so if it were the flex plate I would imagine if it were the starter not disengaging the sound should always be there. Is it possible that it's torque converter?

I'm not very knowledgeable with this so I'm asking more of a question here. I know that the torque converter "locks up" at a certain RPM, but could he have internal torque converter damage (like broken fin).

There's a couple things I can think of.
1: your crankshaft thrust washers have crapped out and now the whole flexplate is shifting forward and grinding on the starter teeth.
2: the flexplate is cracked at the edge of the crankshaft and is about to part ways between the inner and outer diameters.

3: loose torque converter bolt.

You could pretty easily check for the first problem using a prybar between the flexplate and back of the block and gently trying to push the flexplate toward the rear and then the same in front and using a dial indicator ir feeler gauges to check endplay.

If you put a ratchet and socket on the crank bolt in front and turn the engine by hand can you feel or hear any noise like something interfering?
