Ok with child #2 due any day now I just traded my 07 FX4 super cab for an 07 Lariat super crew. The fx had the 6.5 bed and the stake pockets, the super crew has the shorter bed and no pockets!!??.. What kind of truck doesn't have stake pockets!? I need to put fishing rod holders in there. This is not good.

 

they are there, you just have to cut through the plastic cap to get to them. gotta love the design huh? lol

btw, got a pic of your rod holder setup? how do you use the stake pockets for it?

 

Oh my bad lol. Guess I should take a better look huh? This one came with a bed cover so I didn't look too well.
