Default No Reverse lights

Hello Forum Friends.
The reverse lights quit working on my '04 150 XLT. Wiring and bulbs look good. My next check will be the fuse and switch on the trans. My question is; where is the reverse light switch. On left side of trans case, I have a magnetic sensor held in by a clip and screw. There is also the black composite structure around the shift shaft on left side of trans. Is reverse light switch part of this black thing around the shift shaft?
Help appreciated.
Thanks

Yes. It's called the DTR sensor/switch. The reversing lamp circuit is integrated into it along with the gear selector lever position detection.

Check fuse F14 under the dash. HOT in START/RUN. Since it powers other things like the shift interlock and the A/C system, you'd have bigger issues if it were open.
