Default No acceleration from a stop

The truck was running fine. No codes. When stopping such as at a stop sign the truck will not go. I can push the pedal to the floor. The RPMs do not go up. After a few seconds, I let off the gas pedal and it will move forward some then rev up to about 3000 rpm, then back down, and then drive normally. I only notice this after it is warm. It has no issue until I stop again at the next stop. If I slow down but do not stop it has no issue speeding up again.
I am not even sure what to check to see what is causing this issue.

2006 F150 5.4 EXT cab Lariet.

You are going to want a scanner with live data and compare throttle pedal and throttle body position and desired position. You could be having an issue with either the pedal or the throttle body.

This seems like good advice to me. Going to require troubleshooting and that's probably the place to start.

Is it worse when cold? If so (actually do this anyway) check transmission fluid level.
