06 F150/5.4lt The otherday I was driving down the road and the little tool light came on and I lost acceleration, as in it would only idle. I shut the engine off and restarted it and it started working right. Has anyone else had this problem and what was the fix?Thanks for any help!

 

F150 with a hemi wow..jk... Check your throttle body for carbon build up and clean the Mas airflow sensor

 

Thanks ernierob130, I was planning to try cleaning the t/b and MAF, but wanted to see what others had to say. Oh and it would probably run better if it had a Hemi! LOL

 

Mine did the same thing awhile ago. I cleaned the TB and MAS to no avail...mine ended up being the CPS (crank position sensor) luckily, cheap part and relatively easy install.
