Default No AC at Idle

On a hot day (or any day in Florida) I don't have cold air out the vents at idle, say a red light or traffic. While driving I get down into the 40s out the vents (eventually)

This had been ongoing for a month now.

Had the compressor, drier, condenser, clutch fan, oriface all replaced. Pressures are at 50/150 at idle and have air coming out into the mid 70s out the vents reved to 2k were at 25ish/ 180/ish.

Fan clutch does work, is moving masses of air.
I cant figure it out. I do HVAC for a living and this is getting to me.

Have you checked the blend door inside the cab?

25/180 seem more like pressures you should be seeing at idle.
Did you replace all these things or have a shop do it?
Was the proper spec followed for the refrigerant charge?

Looks like some air in the system if the exact amount of freon was used
The low side pressure is high at 50 psi, indicating either the system is overcharged or there is air in the system

The first thing I would check is the fan.

I'm also thinking along the lines of insufficient airflow at idle.
I assume it has the proper fan shroud installed?
From your description it seems like if it's properly charged, then. it's either the airflow or the compressor isn't spinning fast enough at idle.

There's been a handful of guys on here in the past that converted to electric fans to cure this behaviour.

It also seems there have been (rare ?) reports on here of a transmission or engine cooling problem, that sheds excess heat to the condenser, so maybe examine your engine and trans temps via OBD2.

I've also read in these forums where they replaced the fan clutch with new and still had issues, especially if non OEM. I agree that there isn't enough air moving through the condenser assuming there is a correct AC charge.
