Does anyone know how much horsepower a 2004 4.6l pickup engine can withstand? I'm looking to put nitrous on it and I'm pretty sure a 75 shot will be no problem but I just wanna be sure..

i don't think the "hp" is the # you have to look at 1st, what about the force with the extra explosion in eater cylinder and the spark plugs you have and after you find out all the different things it affects with the engine than you have to look at everything further down the line and using it dose a lot of damage to everything so just plan on having half life on it

I was always told nitrous is poor man's horsepower. It will do more harm than good if you don't build the motor to take it.
