Default NGK spark plug part #

was wondering if anyone had the part number for NGK spark plugs for an 04' F150. I know a ton of you swear by motorcraft- but I have been running NGK's in my cobra for years and they've done well so I'm continuing that. thanks

I'm in no place to tell you what to do, but keep in mind these are a different design, one which no company has too much experience with. I run NKGs in my nova's 350 and in my 82's 302. I just can't believe they can make a better one than Motorcraft in this case.

ITR5F13 is the NGK OE replacement for the 4.6
NGK does not appear to make a plug for the 5.4

Ive been using the Autolite, who makes the ford plugs, a little cheaper, and new improved stonger design (says this on the box)
so far so good.

Champions are known to cause problems and even though autolite makes the motorcraft plugs does not mean they are made to the same specifications. Stick with Motorcraft although if you find a NGK plug for the 5.4 I would be interested to see how they perform.

Do I need to define "problem" for you? Does it matter?

Try doing the research yourself. There have been plenty of reports of people having misfire issues with champion plugs. Yes they are a 1 piece plug but if you use the Motorcraft plugs and coat the shanks with antisieze as specified from ford that should eliminate future removal problems.
