I have an 04- 5.4L Supercrew and want to put headers on myself. From what I hear from everyone is this is not a project for an amateur. I've got the time, tools and know-how but I was looking for advice from other people who may have done this. Also some possible recommendations for headers and exhaust...Thanks for the help!!

 

Give Troyer Performance (540-965-7123) a call they have installed lots of headers on Ford trucks. Oh they also sell them so they should be able to advise you on brand and install questions. Good Luck and let us know how it works out.

 

I know it's been a while, but how did it go to change your headers by yourself ?
What other parts did you have to remove to do the job ?(starter, catalyser...etc..)

i didn't mess with headers, probably should though, thinking about it i'm sure performance will obviously be more benificial

 

My banks headers are suposed to be hear monday Ill let yall know how it goes?
