Default Newbie with Airbag problems

The Airbaglight on my 2004 F150 5.4 (Model 2005) is on. Before it lights permanent it shows me Code 51 which means that the thermal fuse in the SRS module is blown, because of a short ground. But when i put the passenger seat bealt in, it goes out and the "passenger air bag light off" goes on. Does anybody can tell me what to do?

Thank you!

There is a recall on the srs system. It may be that, but the recall is for random deployment of the airbags, it may be related.

Take it to the dealer you don't want to mess with the SRS.

Even if you replaced the module, it would have to be reprogrammed by the dealer

the recall 11S18 is for a little wire behind the drivers airbag that can rub on the steering wheel frame and short out if you send me a PM with your VIN I can look it up in the ford data base OASIS
