Default New to the website...

Hey everyone,

I have recently purchased a 05' Lariat Super crew 2WD 5.4L Dark shadow grey F-150, Fully loaded. It has the optional 18' Lariat wheels. Im new to the truck family, and a recent Mustang owner. Both my boyfriend and i Both were apart of the mustang family, Sad to see the stang go, but it was time to go BIGGER and better and safer! Just wanted to know if someone could be of some help and tell me what the largest all terrain tire i can go with, without throwing off my speedo reading while increasing my ride height. Also, is there anything i can get short of a handheld tuner to correct my speedometer for taller ratio tires?

Thanks

You can't go any larger tire size without throwing off your speedo. Cheapest way to correct your speedo is go to your dealership, they can redo your speedo and change your shift points to account for the larger tire size. My dealership was going to charge me $80 to get it done, but I went with the tuner instead.

Welcome aboard!

Sounds like a really nice truck!

We've got the best of both worlds...

But that just means we need to mod 2 vehicles!
