I can imagine....I got a "failure to have mudflaps" ticket one time in Idaho when I was in college with my old truck...just because I had bigger mud terrain tires that stuck out a bit.

I have yellow lights on my truck and got pulled over once here on alabama. No ticket, just a warning for my lights.

I was in Boise when I got harassed by the police about the mudflap thing. Where do you have yellow lights on your truck? in the headlights? I was under the impression it wasn't illegal to have yellow lights anywhere up front of a vehicle.

I did have both heads and fogs yellow but one of the heads burned out so I got blue ones now. I only have them in the fogs now. Yea I thought yellow was fine as well. I've only been stopped for then that one time though. So maybe he was just being a dick. Yea boise cops are definatley more strict with those types of things compared to pocatello where im from

I see. Ya I wouldnt think it would be illegal to have yellow headlights. Heck regular headlights look yellow compared to HIDs lol. Ya and I was downtown during the weekend when I got pulled over and its crazy down there on the weekends. I figured he was looking for something more (maybe dui) when he pulled me over and using the failure to have mudflaps thing as an excuse to make the stop. But then he wrote the ticket lol. I was like really? I had no idea failure to have mudflaps was something you could get a ticket for. I guess that's the best way they could write the law for such an offense instead of calling it a "your tires are too big and they stick out past your fenders and you could potentially kick up rocks into someone's windshield" citation.
