Default New mod

I decided to order a roush hood scoop and paint the hood black. I used plasti dip to paint the hood... I decided to go with plasti dip cause I used it on my rims and liked how it came out so I figured it'd be good to try it on the hood. Anyways here it is...

I'm probably going to peel the plasti dip off and actually paint it with matte black paint. I'm not a fan of the softness feeling of the plasti dip

I like it a lot. Don't know if I could spray my hood with a rattle can. I admire your courage.

AWESOME!!!! I LOVE IT. could you do me a small favor though, can you measure the width of the hood scoop. I am curious if this style scoop would work on the 09+ hoods.

Very nice, how did u mount it? Holes in my truck scare me, that's why I can't pull the trigger on cab roof lights lol

I like it with the black center! I too have the Roush scoop, but painted it body color (Dark Stone).

But if I saw this post back when I did mine, I most likely would have done the same as you.

Follow that big wide stripe over roof and 3/4 way down tailgate and it'd be so sexy!

In not sure it would match the profile of the hood on the new body styles

When I ordered it I figured it'd be held on with 3m tape but I didn't know that I had to drill 4 holes in the hood for it. I'm kinda glad that it has those 4 holes cause I know that it wont fly off haha
