Default new man question

im looking at a 2005 fx4 at a local dealer, i am a mechanic by trade so i know the problems these trucks have, my question is im getting it for 16k even and i want the sparkplugs changed before purchasing... is that to much to ask for, i am slightly hot headed and i believe that thats the least they can do for me.. am i correct in this assumption?
any help would be appreciated thank you

I think it's a reasonable request especially if they really want to sell the truck.

I agree that is a reasonable request. If they really want to sell it they should work with you. Or knock some cash off if they won't change them.
