New lights
Can you post up some night shots of the light pattern? I bought some similar style headlights for my Frontier and the lighting was terrible and am hesitant to buy the same for my F150. If you do put HID in there, I highly recommend 4300K because 6000K or 8000K will do little to light up the road for you. I actually ended up opening up the headlights and putting in some BMW E46 HID projectors in the housing.
I ordered the 8k 55w heads and 3k 35w fogs. Purchased them from DDM...lots of posts on this forum about them, so I figured I'd give them a shot. Was installing the new fogs when the Fedex guys showed up with the HID kits today. I ordered the correct bulb replacement for the factory lenses but the aftermarket lenses( heads and fogs) use different bulbs. I'm going to have to ship them back and try to get different bulbs I guess. Although, I am pretty happy with how they look by themselves ATM. I might send the HID kits back and just use the projectors. I'll think about it a day or two before I decide to ship them back.
I'll post a pic of the fogs soon. I went crazy with a grinder trying to get the fogs to fit in factory openings. The lights look great but now I have to send it to the body shop for some "cleanup". Should look pretty good after. I like the lights a lot but I'm not sure I would have done it now if I'd known ahead of time that the fogs wouldn't fit and there would be modifications needed. The website I bought them off of said nothing about modifications, but I looked around at a few other websites and it was stated in the fine print.....right after it tells ya that they are plug and play...go figure...
