Default New Headlights?

so recently i have been thinking of getting new headlights and i wanted to get y'alls opinion. Right now i have an all black grille on my truck and these are the headlights i thought about getting http://www.carid.com/2006-ford-f-150...-17743920.html Do you think they would look good? And also would the upgraded lights with the CCFL halos be brighter than 6000k HID's(thats what i have on my truck now). All opinions are appreciated!

Are you asking if the halos will be brighter or the light output from the projector? I have a buddy who lives a block away from me with these lights (when I say buddy, I mean we've never met, but out trucks are similar lol) and I see him with them all the time. They look really nice and the halos are pretty bright for an aftermarket headlight, but don't expect too much from the projector. If I were you Id just spend the extra money and do a retrofit on your stock headlights. Or if you're up to it buy the Spyder's and get TRS' spec-d/spyder retro quik setup. I just did it on mine but the bracket was too small so I had to make my own bracket which screwed with my cutoff. I've had to pry the headlight open 3 times now trying to perfect the cutoff by making minor changes to my bracket. I've heard the bracket fits all Spyder headlight though (mine are Spec-d) Good luck on your choice!

This a picture of my old headlight beams from the projectors that came with the aftermarket headlights. If you want I can send you a picture of the beam that comes from my mini H1 I retrofitted into them tonight as I don't have a picture of it right now. But trust me when I say that you're better off just retrofitting your stock headlights.

Will do. Just give me a few hours til it gets dark.
Another thing you can do is buy the headlights you want, then do the retrofit that I did from TRS. They sell a bracket that should fit all Spyder headlights. It didn't fit mine but you can easily remake the bracket to fit your headlights. I believe it's $120 for the mini H1 projector and around $30 for the bracket.
And then another $40 for the H1 bulb (depending on which bulb you buy)

This is kind of a bad example cause they're not aimed perfect. The beam is a LOT wider, the cutoff is sharper, and the colour bad is way prettier lol. the last picture is the high beam.
