New guy with some???
Hey all! I just bought a 2007 F150 XLT 4x4 with 40K miles on it. I want to put new wheels and tires on the truck and I am seeking your advice. Here's the wheel tire package I am interested in-http://www.wheelfire.com/scontent/WheelDetails.cfm?IDNumber=xd778monster&SKU=4373&Ch eckFit=1
My first question is- would this be a good tire/wheel combo for my truck for everyday street/light dirt use? Would they effect gas mileage? Handling? Do I need a full 2" lift kit or would this 2.5" leveling kit do the job? http://www.hellbentsteel.com/product...ling-kits.html
I'm guessing a wheel alignment would also be needed? Do I need to worry about off-set or whatever? What do I need to do?
I currently have BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A's(P275/65R18) and factory 18" chrome wheels.
I'm also looking to have factory towing mirrors installed and eventually a dual exhaust system.
I'll post a pic of my truck tomorrow so you can see what I'm working with.
I'm not looking for the fastest truck or the baddest off-road machine, just a cool everyday driver that isn't a money pit.
Thanks for the help.

Those look alright and will fit without a level but make sure you get the correct backspacing when you order your wheels. The tera grap...is a good tire for what you discribed. post some pic's when your mounted up.
