I just had my tranny rebuilt, and I'm going to put gears in to try and reduce stress on it as well as push my truck easier. I have a 6in lift with 35's (soon to be 37's) and my friend said 4.10 gears would be the best. Any advice?

Go 4.56 for sure. If your planning on running 37s, the lower the better

 

4.56 or 4.88

 

4.56 for 35s
4.88 for 37s.

I have 37s and 4.56s. In hindsight I would have gone with 4.88s to give me a little more low end, esp for towing.
