Default New cluster

Went to the local wrecking yard last week, and found an XLT guage cluster, cruise control switches and a factory jack with all of the tools (which my truck did not have when I bought it), spoke with the counter guy and asked how much for all 3, he told me $50.00 if I remove them, couldnt pass it up 30 mins later they were mine.

Everything works great, still have to go to the dealer to have the cruise control turned on. I had already purchased switches though, but had not received them. So they are for sale in the "sale" section under 04-08. They are new take offs, silver in color.

I do have to pull the cluster out again as it has a light out in it. Anybody know if the illumination lights are regular bulbs or LEDs?

Easy enough though, nice to have a tach again, makes the dash look so much better. Even the wheel looks better with the switches in it. Now I just need to order a leveling kit for it, anybody want to trade one for the switches? Also have a new take off leather wheel with very minor damage, trade?

I believe the lights in question are LED's. In the how to section there is a swap how to that tells the type.

Search. Search. Search. Search.

Cluster swap info can be found if you Search.
