Default Need a Tuner

OK, so Im getting tired of the typical transmission hesitation and what to get a tuner to fix this. I was thinking about just getting the Edge as Im not really looking toward any custom tune or anything. Looking around and reading a lot for a while now and seems that for a pretty much stock setup the Edge would be the way to go for me. Does anyone agree with this, or know of another tuner that I would be able to purchase to do these subtle things? I doubt I would ever even really use the level 3 on the Edge, because gas is high enough without having to fill up with 93.

Can't say much about any other tuner, which others will provide their feedback on the Edge and such, but I have a SuperChips Cortex 1950. Don't use any aggressive tunes, just the basic 87 octane tune. It has greatly increased the throttle response and firmed up the shift points. One nice thing is it does come with a 2-year powetrain warranty. Otherwise I'm new to the tuner scene, so can't tell you much.

Get the Edge, you will love it. I've had mine since 3-07 and have put 50,000miles on the rig with it and have been nothing but happy. I've found that using lvl3 with 93octane the mileage is so much better it pays for itself. On a tank of 87 with level 2 I was seeing 330miles until the gas light. Now 93 on lvl3 I get 375miles until it comes on. I've got the 27.5gal tank.

Wow thats great mileage. I live 30 miles outside Chicago and commute there everyday. The traffic is pretty harsh around here. Go 80 lockem up go 20, repeat for 30 miles.
