2005 4x4 lariat 5.4. Need help with accessing mode door for replacement. I have intermittent door movement between settings I've read thru the thread on the foam causing problems, but I don't think this is my issue. It's like there is no power to the actuator. but when I wiggle the wires I can get it to work for a while. Is there a way to bench test motor? Also need help accessing the motor, is there a certain way to remove the linkages and stuff?. Is it better to remove accelerator pedal to get more access or is there a better way to get access? thanks for any and al help.
