Need some help for burning blower motor resister

It was the connector.
I ended up buying three resistors and the last one I replaced, I took a good look at the connector and did not see any evidence of arcing, however the connection was loose so I stuck a shim in-between the male/female and tightened it up. Now I have zero burning electric smell and everything is working.
