After hauling some garbage to the dump this weekend, I realized how crappy the tie down points are in the box of my truck. They are so low down in the box that you have to dig through garbage just to strap the load down.

So I'm looking for ideas on installing mounting points that are a little more user friendly. Btw, I'm not a big fan of the nerf style bars on the top edge of the box. With all the salt on the roads during our long winters, most bars are rusted out in 4 or 5 years. I also have a roll up tonneau cover. I have tried strapping to my tonneau cover mounts, but it's not really ideal.

I have the bull rings that pull up out of the stake pocket. they are great. They are to the right if your post.

 

Get some cheap boat cleats. You can grab em off amazon for 5 to 10 bucks a piece.
