Default Need some advice

Hi, I'm new to the forum and looking for some advice. I have a 2008 King Ranch F150 with 20 inch wheels and looking to do some upgrades to it.

First I am adding the banks monster exhaust si/do and a cold air intake. I am stuck between the K&N and AFE stage 2. Do the open box ones work better than the closed box intakes? My truck does leave the pavement and I thought the sealed intake would stay cleaner but I'm also out to get the most power gains.

The other change is in tires, I'm going from Toyo Open Country tires (275/55/20) to Goodyear Duratracs (285/60/20). If I get a gryphon tuner will it recalibrate my speedometer? Does a custom tune do it or can I do it myself?

Thanks for any help in advance.

First off...welcome to the forum...If you do allot of water...I would go with a closed box CAI...this will prevent water from entering your air intake...don't know about the brands you mention no experience with either one...and the tuner you mentioned will correct your speedometer... a Gryphon is an Edge evo with custom tunes in it.

Thanks you for the help. If you don't mind my asking how do you like your Airaid intake? Did it, your tuner and exhaust make a difference in power or mpg?

The edge and gryphon are not exactly the same if you look the tune levels are different I like gryphon for having an econ/power mode in the same that way you don't have to pull over and change settings unless you are towing or trans only, or so I have heard. I want to get the gryphon soon
