Default Need opinions on next engine mod...

I've been searching around for some ideas on another mod to do for better gas mileage and power combined, but I keep getting alot of different answers and I'd rather consolidate them into one thread. If you look at my mod list you'll see there isn't much done with the engine, but I'm wanting to change that. I've allready done an cold air intake intake, exhaust, throttle body spacer, and edge programmer and I'm not sure what next would be the most cost efficient source of a good gain in hp. I've read alot about efans, underdrive pulleys, better sparkplugs, etc. So what are some mods everyone has done and received good gains from? Any suggestions or recommendations? I know other threads have been started over this but your opinions would be appreciated, thanks guys.

I would suggest the pulleys and then have your Edge sent in and converted to a Gryphon and custom tuned by PHP. You cannot compare the efficiency/power of a custom tune as you do to canned tunes.

I thought about doing a supercharger but I'm not sure if I want to spend that much money right now. Just looking for a cheaper way to save some fuel and get a little more power while I'm at it. Pulley's and maybe efans is what I'm thinking, but I know there is alot more that can be done.

Get yourself a Mark 8 electric fan with a good controller... Price will be sub $300 however you *should* see 1-2mpg from it in addition to more power.

Also, remember... although an electric fan only gives 15 or so HP doesn't mean it's a huge difference. 15 peak HP isn't very much, however you have to remember that 15 HP is a certain amount of drag that is a nearly fixed amount being applied to the engine. At part throttle and low RPMs you are still losing a good 5-10 HP from your clutch fan, only your engine is making 100-200 HP instead of your peak 300... so 10 HP out of 150 is a big difference that you will actually be able to notice.

For some reason not many guys on this forum do the e-fan swap however do a quick search on www.fordf150.net and you'll get tons of good reviews over the mod.
