I had to change out the instrument cluster in my truck and the one I replaced it with has lower millage - need to add about 25000 miles to it - where can I have this done - I live in Greenville SC.

Really? That changes the mileage??? I thought all the mileage was saved in the PCM so a gauge swap wouldn't effect it.

It'll still be off by 25,000.

As for the OP's question... maybe a dealer? But maybe not, because tampering with the Odometer is illegal.

Is that legal? In my state, the shop that did the work has to attach a "disclosure" to your title in the state motor vehicle database if there is a difference between odo and actual. If you do it yourself, you are not able to register or sell your truck!

Too funny

OP: Seriously good luck with that. You are probably better off just waiting for one with closer mileage to pop up for sale on ebay. The dealer is perfectly capable of reprograming the mileage but they will tell you they will only do it if you were buying one new from them. You may be luckier than me with your local ford though so get in touch with their service department and ask. If they can do it it will run you 90 bucks or so.

There are a few guys in Miami that will do it but you may get baffled looks when you tell them you want to move the clock forward instead of backwards.
