Default Need help with a P0119 error

So my CEL came on in my 2005 F150 Lariat 4x4 with a 5.4 3v Triton. I went to O'Reilly's and they told me that I had a P0119 code. Engine coolant temperature sensor. So while looking for parts, I see two similar sensors. One (the CHT-cylinder head temperature sensor), I know where it is located. Under the intake manifold. But I am a little lost on the ECT sensor location. I am seeing mixed search results. Can anyone tell me if my engine even has a ECT (Engine coolant temperature sensor)? And if so...where is it located? With a P0119 code, which one is likely to be bad? The engine runs fine. No issues at all. The temp gauge isn't acting up at all. It starts out cold in the morning and warms up just as it should. The A/C works great. I just want to get the CEL to go out as cheap as possible! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

ECU/PCM uses it to decrease fuel pressure during cold start ups, as well as detecting a overheated engine and setting itself into "limp home" mode.

This may help with what you are looking for. You only have a Cylinder head temp sensor (C107 in lower left of picture):

Thanks for the reply Bucko! You confirmed what I was thinking. I saw a thread where where someone said they were able to reach this sensor with extremely small and flexible wrists along with a 3/4 inch wrench. I'm going to give it a go this weekend. Thanks!

You'll be leaning over the engine to get at it; make sure it has cooled down!

I've got the same issue. CEL with P0119 but no issues with the truck.

Was wondering if you were able to change the sensor without too much effort or disassembly..?

SOLVED!

The repair took about 60-90 minutes total. The first video gives a good explanation of how to access and remove the sensor. I had to use a long flat head screwdriver to unclip the harness. The sensor removal took a bit of effort but no more than 15 minutes. I used a 19mm flex head ratchet wrench as recommended. Removal of the alternator is straightforward. The part number for my 5.4L 2006 was 9L8Z-6G004-C. I picked it up from my local Ford parts department for about $30. Feel free to ask any questions.
