Default need help....did search

O.k. guys heres the deal. I have been looking for a CAI, I searched just doing research on which one is the best and so on....my question is... from 04-07 the 5.4 was a 5.4 24v (I think) with the intake tube attaching at a few different pionts through the different model years. On my 08' 5.4 3V My intake pulls air from the fender well (similiar to other years) but then I my intake attaches from the front of the intake manifold not the top. Once the intake tube enters the intake manifold thats where my filter is. Is this the same on other 5.4's? I called AFE and spoke to some tool on the phone that had no idea what I was talking about, them he tranfered me to someone else and I got a price of $375.00 for a sealed enclosure dry filter intake. Not sure if thats a goos price or not.....I just dont want to order the wrong setup, so if anyone has an intake for the 5.4 3V please include model # and brand and if you are happy with it. I am oen to all brands.

Thanks in advance.....and sorry for the long post

dont worry so much, you are overcomplicating yourself. The CAI kits for ALL 5.4L 04-08 F150s are the same.........(not heritage, though). $375 is way too much, I paid $280 for my Volant kit. PN 19754, from modbargains.com
