I need help in trying to figure out how to remove, and still be able to re-apply the stock bed rail caps on my '08 F150. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Not very easily. There's not much room to get a screwdriver in to push the tabs as you're prying up, so you really need to just pull up and hope for the best. More than likely you'll break most of the tabs though.

If you want it off to paint the box side, what about just lifting it enough to jam some foam or something underneath so it's up enough to hide your tape line? I've done that before with positive results.
