Angry need help asap plss!!!!!!!!!!!

hi guys, I haven't been on the forum for a while... but im sure there are some treads about this topic already... here is my problem... I installed a 6k hid kit on my 05 f150 xlt... they light up with the truck off when I turn on the head lights manually but one of the bulbs goes off after a while... (if that bulb is on the battery side headlight it stays on about 20 secs... on the opposite side it stays on about 5 secs)... I go to turn on the truck and the both go off... I have to manually turn them off and back on for them to light up... but my first problem appers again... its stressing me the f**k out because I already put the relay harness for it to have enough juice and I still have the same damn problem... pls help me out!!!.... looking forward to ur comments... thanks in advance

Maybe the ballasts are defective? Try connecting one (or both) of the ballasts directly to the battery. If the light doesn't stay on, I would return the kit and buy another one.

All things HID here.....

https://www.f150forum.com/f83/all-th...id-here-77080/

And put the stock headlights back in before you blind oncoming traffic.

I have a similar problem I found today, I put in my 6k HIDS and they have a regular bulbs for high beams and an HID for low beam, the HID on the battery side won't work no matter what, I can flip the wires so when I turn On The high beams the HIDs light up or vice versa. And it not the bulbs because I switched sides with them and it's the same problem. It's only on the battery side, the HID won't come on.

I think my problem is the bulb... because when I switch sides the problem does to... and just for a side note I haven't even tried to use the high beams... im gonna go do that right now...

Sounds like a ballast.Take them out and bench test it and put your factory bulbs back on for the mean time.
