Default need help

My truck is 2006 FX4 Extended Cab. I just had the dash area of my truck re-sprayed as the factory finish was spotting. When I picked the truck up I noticed several spots on the inside of the clear plastic that is in front of the speedometer and gauges. The guy who did the work will be looking at it next week. He believes it is on the outside. I have tried to remove it using a cleaner I use for motorcycle windshields however the spots are on the inside.

My question is - how do I remove the clear plastic piece which is in from of the speedometer and gauges?

Thank you in advance..

As you can tell I'm not a mechanic. Just trying to find out how to remove the clear lense on the instrumental panel cluster

Super easy to do man, take the kick panel off which is below the gauge cluster there is two bolts on the bottom, and it literally just pops off when pulling on it, next take the surround around the gauge cluster off by removing another set of two screws, put the wheel all the way down and pull the surround off at a 45 degree angle Towards yourself as you sit in the drivers seat, take out the 4 bolts holding the gauge cluster in place, disconnect the wire pig tails from the top of the cluster, **stick your fingers in the bottom of the Gauge cluster to remover the shift indicator **(depending on the model) there is 2 tabs that must be pulled together and it will just slide out, and now the gauge cluster should be free, there is plastic tabs holding the clear piece to the black housing, use a screw driver and pop them off and the clear piece will come right off. It's really simple, should maybe take 5 minutes. Reverse steps to put it back together.

Just read the FX4 part. Don't worry about the shift indicator because you don't have it. Good luck man
