I again wanted to update everyone... I really hate being the extreme non-mechanic. I really hate when you take your vehicle to a shop and they tell you it needs one thing and oh by the way the noise you hear when in 4wd is normal.. After the drive shaft was shimmed I decided to take the truck to the Ford dealer who looked at it and told me the 4wd system was fine however I needed a longer drive shaft and possibly a balanced one. I decided to take my truck to Eastern Offroad in Norfolk Va. They had the truck less than 2 hours and new what the issues were. The wheel bearings, actuators and the solenoid needed to be replaced. I have the truck back fixed.
