I have an 04 F-150 4x4 5.4L. When i start my truck it makes a real bad knocking noise for 3-4 seconds and quits. After the truck warms up it seems like it wants to die when I come to a complete stop. Any help would be appreciated.

108,000 miles. I changed my oil 3 days ago and that is the only thing i have done.

 

Did this problem start before or after the oil change?

 

It was before the oil change. its only the initial start then it really doesnt do it and it only starts to die when i have been driving for a while.
