Default Need a Fuel Pump Driver Module?

In calling around today to locate one of these, I discovered talking to a parts guy in Ohio (one of three Ford dealerships my local Ford dealer said had one) that the Expeditions use one that will also fit our F150's.

The F150 part number for a FPDM (fuel pump delivery module) is:

4L3Z-9D370-A (these are on back order everywhere until mid April)

The Expedition part number is:

6C2Z-9D372-A (as of this writing, the Ohio Ford dealership had 4).

He assured me they are identical; the F150 uses bolts to connect the module, the Expedition has studs, so either way, the part mounts right onto our F150's.

If your dead in the water so to speak, try the Expedition FPDM for availability.

Every Ford parts department I called today (3-19-2010) that showed up on the locater that said they had them did not. One even said I was the 100th caller this week!
The Ohio Ford dealership's phone number is 419-935-4571. Tell them you're a member of the F150Forum. May not get you a discount, but they are nice folks working the parts department.

Got any phone numbers? The U.S. dealer parts depertments don't include them in their search for the part. At least the two I called initially did not mention any Canadian dealers with them.
