Honestly from a buyers perspective your truck has a huge identity crisis and a lack of info. The stripes up the tailgate and on the roof but not on the hood, I'd remove them. Is the hood functioning? If not return it to stock. The grill back to stock, $50 on eBay for a "crash" part. Remove the stick on chrome!! Remove and paint the flares and other faded plastic. The interior looks very tired especially the drivers seat, consider a Katzkin Leather or check eBay and or car-part.com for some leather seats, I have two for a screw in my garage picked up for $300. Replace the steering wheel, quick and easy. And then I'd detail it, if it was me id even pull the carpet out and either replace it with new from Tasca or get a Rug Dr and go over it 4-5 times and then on the exterior three step compound. Answer some questions you know you will get, any rust, any body rot, ever been in an accident, single owner, do you have the carfax on it, how's the undercarriage (pics), tire life, maintenance records, spark plugs, coil packs, cam phaser, engine or transmission repairs, kind of bed liner does it have, what kind of exhaust, what other little mods? Note: not all mods are of value and many devalue a truck... You will never get back what you paid on any, but I'd say with a little investment and time you could easily get 14k for that truck within 30 days.

I'm not trying to be mean it is a nice truck and right now it is your truck, the way you want it and like it. If you want to sell something for maximum value you need to think like a buyer, make it feel like a new truck and give them all the info and pictures they could want.

Thanks for tips. I am gonna go over it this weekend and take some fresh pictures after a bath. I don't necessarily any to replace the seats and such and that's why I'm only asking 9k for it. I think with a little love it can look a lot nicer then the pictures show.

Personally, I would never knowingly buy a vehicle that has been modified. But that's just me.
On your ad, a few things put me off.
First, "custom" everything on that truck is "custom". I think you wore the word "custom" out.
Second, there is a photo (number 4) that is from the front. I'm sure it's just a perspective thing, but it looks like the roof slants to the viewers right. That makes the vehicle look like it was rolled, or the hood is crooked the other way.
Third, rust and body rot? This truck has rust and body rot? Not interested. Not no how, not no way. Surface oxidation on the frame is not rust. I'm not advocating dishonesty, but if you don't have actual damage, then don't mention it. If you do have rust, etc. Show photos of it specifically.
Fourth, what business is it of mine how much you owe? Unless, of course, all you're asking is pay-off. Just tell me how much you want for it and let me try to talk you down as much as I can. If I know the difference between what you want and what you need, I'm going to work you down as close as I can to the lower figure.
Lastly, I wouldn't mention tread wear. I'd simply show a photo with perhaps a Lincoln penny in the tread to indicate how much tread is left. As it is, you're telling me I'm going to have to invest in tires in a month or two. Not enticing.
Don't hide the shortcomings, but don't parade them out, either, they sound too negative.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

Am I wrong or is the add stating your truck is a SuperCrew when it's actually a SuperCab or extended cab truck?

I would get it close to stock as possible, people dont want to buy a truck "the way you like it" they want it "how they like it". Loose the chrome and the hood and it sells in less than a week. Ive seen dozens of f-150s sell in less than a week, good condition or beat up.

A guy I work with with just sold his beat up 04 lariat with 170K, busted bumper, cam phaser ticking, torn leather in 1 day for 7500 and must have had 15 offers that day off Craigslist. It should not be hard to sell, the truck will sell its self, not that hood schoop and cheap looking mirrors.

Ok I am going to revamp the ad once more and take away the negative aspects so it does not sound so bad. how much do you think I could sell the hood for? The truck cleaned.up nice and I will post the new post here.

So i changed up the wording a bit and only used the positive aspects of the truck and no negatives. Here is the craigslist ad for it. Let me know what you guys think

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/3595387577.html

Also the interior cleaned up but the driver side seat is beat to hell. I have been searching eBay for some new seats but they are mostly tan leather not black.
