Default need advice to help get my truck sold

I have a 2004 f150 fx4 in pretty good shape. I have it on autotrader but can not get anyone to actually buy the rank thing. it has been up for sound three weeks. any advice on what I should do to change the ad or where to look to sell it elsewhere? The bad part is I still owe $3000 so I I've been waiting for a serious buyer then I would pay it off and get the title. what do you guys think? Here's the ad

http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...us=d=337420963

any help is appreciated.

I just traded my '04 FX4 in at the dealership and they gave me 12000 for it. You should be able to get a bit more with a private sale.....I would think...link doesn't work for me ...

Unless you have money spent on mods then you probably won't get back for what the truck is actually worth. 99 percent of the time when you still owe money on a vehicle and try and sell it you end up losing money on it. Three weeks isn't that long to have a vehicle up for sale you have to be patient. I was going to sell my 04 and by the time 2 and a half months went by and a serious buyer came along i just decided to keep it because i love it. Plus i have 3-4k worth of mods to it, so i was going to come out ahead by a grand or so

There is an updated link. I found on craigslist.my truck would just get swallowed up and no one would see it. how do you make your add not visible? I will take 8000 for it and I feel that is superbly fair. I mean it has a custom hood exhaust and a few other small things.

HAHAHA I did the same thing. I have a 04 Lariat and a 03 540i and was looking to sell them both and buy something new... then about a month into it I had serious buyers and it donned on me... what the hell am i doing?? I got two awesome vehicles totally upgraded and no monthly payments...

Does it have a clean title. That seems like a pretty good deal for 8000.

Like I said at the beginning I owe $3000 so I don't bag the title in hand but yes it is clean. I will pay it off as soon as someone is serious about buying it. I listed $9500 want 8500 will take 8 I thought it would have sold by now.

x2 for Craig's list. Make sure you include some good quality pics. If it does not sell in a week or so, delete the ad and relist it. I have not had a car last longer than a couple of days on craig's list with a fair price.

Good Luck
