I have the opportunity to pick up a Ford Factory Navigation headunit for my truck. I currently have the 6 disc changer with sirus, but it is not the navigation unit.

Will this unit just plug right into my truck?

If not what would I have to do to get it working?

Do a search here; it's been asked before and not too long ago. I forgot the exact answers, but it seemed there were some issues with "workability".

 

06 and up needs progaming to your truck . you will need a disc on 04 to 08 units and a nav antena you may also need a antena adaptor.if you dont program it you will lose some functions and an error display turns on, that you turn off every time you turn it on.
