Default my first ford.

Ok new truck. Got questions. I got a F150 xlt 2005 4.6 v8. This truck has 134000 miles on it. I bought it from a dealership for 9,000. I've been driving chevys most my life. I'm looking to maybe be hauling some mowers with gas equipment weedeaters, edgers, etc etc. No more than one mower at a time. But maybe more. I have a 20 ft inclosed trailer plus a couple of 16 ft open air trailers. What's the tow rating and can I handle hauling that with this truck? Do I need to install trailer brakes? Most importantly did I get ripped off? The truck is pretty clean. Two previous owners. Average of 23000 miles a year since purchased. One wreck on the carfax. First owner was a rental company.

need to know more details. I bought an 06 STX supercab with a nice cap. 17 inch alloy wheels, 4X4, 4.6L, 3.55 rear, 35 gallon gas tank (which I neverrun till empty just so i can afford to fill it up)...it had 46,000 when i bought it for 18,000...so 100,000 less miles...so what r the details of yours?

Check the Kelly blue book value. Those are mostly dead on. I would get a trailer brake to reduce wear on the truck brakes but it should pull it just fine!
