Not a big deal but where can I get the screw that retains the multifunction switch after it gets clicked onto the steering column
Is there a name for it?
Hardware store or part store for sure. There’s no standard way to look up bolts in either of these places, so you essentially just need to know the size, thread pitch, and length.
Check and see if you have a "U-Pull" scrape yard in your area. If you do, take a drive over there and you will likely find anything you need. They fun places to visit and they have everything you could possibly want.
You could go to the dealer and have them look it up or go to a U-pick/pick-a-part type place, as already mentioned.
Just a guess, but looking at one video it says the bolt has a 5.5mm head. You could go to the hardware store and get an M3x0.5 bolt and try it. You'll probably need a small washer too, so maybe get a couple different lengths. So probably M3x0.5x10mm or 12mm. Again, just a guess at the size so don't be upset if it's not correct.
