Default Multi function switch or clock spring

On my 2004 Lariat when I make a right turn my turn signal indicator hyper flashes. It only does it on right turns. If I turn the steering wheel more to the right it stops hyper flashing.
I have made sure no bulbs are burned out. It will sometimes make a buzzing noise while hyper flashing. The steering wheel controls for the radio and HVAC work. I haven't verified if
cruise works as I haven't taken any long trips in a while.

I did replace the MFS about 3 years ago with an aftermarket one as a Motorcraft one is no longer available. I'm leaning toward it being the MFS since the audio and HVAC controls work.
I believe the MFS I bought was from 1A Auto so I'm sure it was Chinesium.

I don't think the turn signals go through the clock spring, so yeah I'd lean toward the MFS I guess.
HVAC and cruise and radio go through clock spring.

Agreed,
I used to keep a few no good multi function switches around for testing
Plug your old one in and see if that particular problem goes away and the other problem returns
