08 screw 4.6l 2wd... Wanting to replace my muffler with aftermarket. Wondering what size the pipe is... Has a clamp before the muffler which will make it real easy to swap out, with the correct pipe size of course.

 

2.5 inch if its the same as the 5.4

I have a 5.4 stock pipes flow master 40s series with custom 3 inch tip and it is a beast! Low growl at 25 so they can't hear you coming and a roar at anything over so they know your there. Just today I realized I can here it at 60 mph with my windows rolled down.

 

I think im going to get a magnaflow for mine. I love the flowmasters on my 68 chevy, but I want just a little sound to let me know its there
