Default Motorcraft Brakes

Was looking at brakes at O'Reiley and the list 2 motorcraft part numbers.

BRSD1083 and BR1083 I would like to know if anyone knows what the difference is the price wasn't a concern, and both were listed and Semi Metallic.

Thanks Douglas

Looks like one set is for the Standard Duty 6 lug wheels and the other would be for the Heavy Duty 7 lug wheels

The extra SD inthe part number means that is is rated as a super duty pad. It's usually the same fitment as the standard motorcraft pad. The SD is usually for people that require towing heavy loads, fleet departments and harsher braking conditions. It has minimal heat fading while severe braking is required
