I was wondering if a brute force cold air intake and a throttle body spacer would make a difference on my truck. If so is there a certain type of throttle body spacer i should get. Thanks

throttle body spacers are a waste on our engines. some people even say they loose power from them.

Use the search for popular upgrades. Cold air intakes, exhaust, and tuners are talked about on this forum weekly. Just yesterday someone asked about which of the three should be installed first (doesn't matter). As to the throttle body spacer, it is true that they do not offer any signifficant gains on the 3 Ford engines used on our trucks (4.2, 4.6, and 5.4) so you can save your money there. This too comes up here from time to time.

Welcome aboard!

A tuner is going to be the best bang for the buck no matter what motor you have.
