i have an 08 fx4 super crew with 6" pro comp lift and 35" (please read previous topic, "questions questions questions") for more details.
the guy at 4wheelparts told me that i only need a programer to compinsate for the bigger tires and that if i wanted to re gear it i should go with at least 4.56s. that sounds really really low to me?
i want to know if a programmer will fix the speedometer ( he said no that my true speed will only be shown on the Edge monitor (the programmer he was trying to sell me) and if i use just a programmer and adjust the shift points and add the small amount of power they all say to give you, will that make my truck more responsive and more like stock with regards to acceleration and gas mileage. neither are terrible but i feel both could be better!
